Disaster Preparedness For Pets Volusia County: The Volusia County Fairgrounds building has been designated as a natural disaster shelter which allows you to bring your pets! *None of the Red Cross shelters allow pets.

DO NOT turn your pets loose to fend for themselves. Pets are domesticated animals and cannot survive on their own! By doing so, you are putting your animals and the community at risk.
